Admission Process

ADMISSION PROCESS The admission process at Imperial College of Engineering is conducted strictly in accordance with the rules, regulations, and schedule prescribed by the State Government of Maharashtra. Admissions to engineering programs are completely centralized and carried out through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.
The entire admission procedure is governed and administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, Mumbai. As per the criteria and guidelines of DTE, Maharashtra, the admission process, eligibility conditions, reservation policy, merit list preparation, seat allotment, and admission schedule are decided by the State Government and are mandatory for all engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
Candidates seeking admission must participate in the centralized online admission process conducted through the official portal of DTE Maharashtra: 👉 https://dtemaharashtra.gov.in/
Through this portal, applicants are required to complete online registration, submit application forms, upload necessary documents, verify credentials, and participate in CAP rounds. Seat allotment is done strictly on the basis of merit, candidate preferences, category-wise reservations, and seat availability, as per government norms.
Imperial College of Engineering follows the DTE Maharashtra admission process in its entirety without any deviation. Once a seat is allotted through the CAP process, candidates must report to the institute within the prescribed time for document verification, confirmation of admission, and completion of all admission formalities, as notified by DTE Maharashtra.
The institute provides necessary assistance and guidance to students during the reporting and admission confirmation process. However, it is important to note that the admission schedule, CAP rounds, cut-off marks, and allotment decisions are solely determined by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, and the college has no role in altering or influencing these decisions.
